The Final Evolution of the McLaren P1
Few hypercars have reshaped automotive engineering quite like the McLaren P1, but for a handful of owners, even one of the world’s greatest hybrid hypercars wasn’t the final destination. That ambition gave birth to the McLaren P1 GT by Lanzante—an extraordinarily exclusive reinterpretation inspired by the legendary McLaren F1 GT and engineered to push the P1 platform even further.
This remarkable example is the fourth and final P1 GT ever produced by Lanzante. Finished in an elegant Burgundy specification and showing just 990 miles, it represents one of the rarest and most significant road-going McLarens ever built.
Inspired by the McLaren F1 GT

The McLaren P1 already occupied an iconic place among modern hypercars, combining Formula 1-derived hybrid technology, active aerodynamics and extraordinary performance into one of the defining cars of the twenty-first century.
Lanzante—renowned for its Le Mans victory with McLaren in 1995 and later responsible for the celebrated P1 LM program—looked to the rare McLaren F1 GT of 1997 as inspiration for an even more focused grand touring interpretation.
The result was the P1 GT, a machine that blends motorsport engineering, bespoke craftsmanship and collector exclusivity in a package unlike any standard P1.
Only Four Examples Worldwide

Production of the P1 GT was limited to just four cars, making it considerably rarer than the already scarce production P1.
Each vehicle underwent an extensive transformation featuring newly designed carbon fiber bodywork, dramatically revised aerodynamics, an elongated rear section, roof-mounted intake, enlarged front splitter and a redesigned rear wing inspired directly by the legendary F1 GT.
Rather than functioning as a styling exercise, every modification was developed to enhance cooling, aerodynamic efficiency and high-speed stability.
A Unique Cosworth-Built 4.0-Liter Powertrain

What makes this final P1 GT even more exceptional is its completely unique mechanical specification.
During its transformation by Lanzante, the original McLaren engine was carefully removed and preserved, remaining with the vehicle today. In its place sits a prototype 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, rebuilt by Cosworth specifically for this project.
This one-off powertrain makes chassis 056 unlike any other P1 GT ever constructed, adding another layer of significance to an already extraordinary automobile.
The Ultimate Expression of the P1 Program

Acquired by Mouse Motors in late 2022, this P1 was commissioned directly to Lanzante for a complete restoration and conversion program.
The donor vehicle was fully dismantled before being rebuilt into its final GT specification, with the project reaching completion in late 2023. Every aspect reflects the extraordinary engineering standards that have made Lanzante one of the most respected names in the McLaren world.
The result is arguably the ultimate road-going evolution of the P1 platform.

An Exceptional Opportunity for Collectors
Collector-grade McLaren P1s have become increasingly desirable, but the P1 GT occupies an entirely different level of exclusivity.
With only four examples produced—and this being the final car completed—the opportunity to acquire one is exceptionally rare. Combined with its unique Cosworth-developed engine, original factory powertrain and extremely low mileage, this example stands among the most significant modern McLarens ever offered on the open market.
