When Lamborghini introduced the original Urus in 2018, it fundamentally changed the luxury performance SUV segment.
Purists questioned the idea of a Lamborghini SUV.
Customers embraced it.
Today, the Urus is not only the brand’s best-selling model but also one of the most influential high-performance SUVs ever created, proving that practicality and supercar performance could coexist without compromise.
Now, Lamborghini has taken its hybrid Super SUV one step further.
Introducing the 2027 Urus SE Performante, Sant’Agata Bolognese has transformed the plug-in hybrid Urus SE into its most focused, most powerful and most technically advanced production SUV to date.

Building on the Urus SE
The arrival of the Urus SE marked Lamborghini’s first plug-in hybrid SUV, combining a twin-turbocharged V8 with an electric motor to deliver remarkable performance while significantly reducing emissions.
For the Performante, Lamborghini has retained that formula but refined virtually every aspect of the package.
Power rises to 801 horsepower (812 CV), making it the most powerful Urus ever produced. The hybrid system combines the familiar 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with a permanently excited electric motor, delivering immediate torque and relentless acceleration across the rev range.

The result is breathtaking performance.
0–100 km/h takes just 3.3 seconds, while the top speed exceeds 310 km/h, reinforcing the Urus’ position among the fastest production SUVs in the world.
Lighter, Sharper and More Focused
Power alone has never defined a Performante.
Just as important is the way that performance is delivered.
To that end, Lamborghini has introduced extensive weight-saving measures through increased use of exposed carbon fibre. Components such as the bonnet, wheel arch extensions, aerodynamic elements and exterior trim contribute to a noticeable reduction in weight compared with the standard Urus SE.

Suspension tuning has also received considerable attention.
A newly calibrated dual-chamber air suspension improves both body control and ride quality while reducing roll during aggressive cornering. Revised chassis calibration, steering adjustments and upgraded brake cooling further sharpen the driving experience without compromising everyday usability.
The result is an SUV that feels considerably more connected to the road than its size might suggest.

Aerodynamics Developed for Performance
The visual changes are far more than cosmetic.
Lamborghini’s engineers have substantially revised the aerodynamic package, introducing a redesigned front bumper, larger air intakes, an enlarged rear spoiler and an aggressive rear diffuser.

According to Lamborghini, these revisions generate approximately 23 percent more downforce than the standard Urus SE while simultaneously reducing aerodynamic drag. Improved airflow management also increases cooling efficiency for both the powertrain and braking system, ensuring consistent performance during demanding driving conditions.
As with every modern Lamborghini, every vent and every surface serves a purpose.
Technology Inspired by Lamborghini’s Supercars
Beyond raw performance, Lamborghini has introduced several new technologies developed to improve dynamic precision.

One of the most significant is a new 6-D sensor system, capable of continuously measuring the vehicle’s spatial movement in real time. By monitoring acceleration and body motion across multiple axes, the system allows the chassis, suspension and electronic controls to respond with greater speed and accuracy.
The Performante also benefits from revised driving modes, including an updated Rally mode designed to maximise confidence and driver enjoyment on loose surfaces by adjusting suspension settings and torque distribution.
While few owners are likely to take their Urus into the desert, the inclusion of Rally mode reinforces Lamborghini’s philosophy that performance should extend beyond perfect asphalt.
A Cabin Focused on the Driver

Inside, the Urus SE Performante builds upon the already sophisticated interior of the Urus SE.
Carbon-fibre trim becomes more prominent throughout the cabin, while extensive use of Alcantara and premium microsuede creates a more purposeful atmosphere. New graphics for the 12.3-inch infotainment display, revised digital instrumentation and bespoke Performante detailing reinforce the SUV’s sporting character.
Despite its increased performance focus, the Urus remains a genuine grand tourer.
Four adults can travel in comfort.
Luggage space remains generous.

And the hybrid system allows short journeys to be completed in electric mode when required.
It is this versatility that continues to distinguish the Urus from almost every other high-performance SUV.
More Than Just a Faster Urus
The Performante has always represented the most uncompromising interpretation of Lamborghini’s Super SUV.
The new Urus SE Performante takes that philosophy even further.

Rather than simply adding more power, Lamborghini has re-engineered the entire driving experience, combining electrification with lower weight, greater aerodynamic efficiency, sharper chassis dynamics and more advanced technology.
The result is not merely the fastest Urus.
It is arguably the most complete.

The Next Chapter of Lamborghini’s Super SUV
The arrival of the Urus fundamentally reshaped Lamborghini’s future.
The Urus SE introduced electrification.
The Urus SE Performante demonstrates that hybrid technology need not dilute emotion or performance.
Instead, it enhances both.

With more than 800 horsepower, advanced hybrid engineering and a level of dynamic sophistication previously unimaginable in a luxury SUV, the Urus SE Performante represents the natural evolution of Lamborghini’s most commercially successful model.
It is faster.
Smarter.
More capable.
And proof that the future of high-performance SUVs can still carry the unmistakable character of Sant’Agata Bolognese.
