When Art Meets Speed: The Codalunga Goes Topless
Pagani has once again blurred the lines between engineering and sculpture with the reveal of the Huayra Codalunga Speedster—an open-top reinterpretation of the long-tail masterpiece first introduced in 2022. Limited to just 10 bespoke units, this roadster is more than a hypercar. It is a rolling tribute to craftsmanship, performance, and aeronautical design philosophy.

Inspired by the streamlined aesthetic of 1960s Italian racing prototypes, the Speedster retains the spirit of the original Codalunga while elevating it with the emotional drama only a topless supercar can deliver.
Elegant Simplicity, Dramatic Presence
The Huayra Codalunga Speedster is defined by its elongated rear section—measuring 360 mm longer than the standard Huayra—resulting in a teardrop-shaped silhouette that reduces drag and enhances stability at high speed. With the roof now gone, the Speedster’s design becomes even more expressive. The seamless curvature of its bodywork channels air efficiently over its carbon-fiber skin, offering not just beauty but aerodynamic performance.

Pagani’s design philosophy of “less is more” is evident here. The Speedster’s lines are uninterrupted, the details minimal yet purposeful, with every surface sculpted to perfection.
A Symphony of Power: AMG V12 Unleashed
At its core, the Codalunga Speedster houses the same 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, specially developed by Mercedes-AMG. Delivering a breathtaking 840 hp and 1,100 Nm of torque, it offers blistering acceleration and a top speed that remains well over 350 km/h, even without a roof.

Mated to a 7-speed Xtrac sequential transmission, the powertrain delivers a raw, analogue experience. The absence of a fixed roof amplifies the V12’s mechanical symphony, immersing the driver in every intake, turbo whistle, and downshift.

Lightweight and Emotionally Charged
Despite its open-top architecture, the Codalunga Speedster retains an ultra-light dry weight of just 1,280 kg. Thanks to Pagani’s relentless focus on materials and structural engineering, the Speedster offers a visceral yet controlled driving experience. The monocoque chassis, constructed from advanced composite materials, ensures rigidity without sacrificing comfort.

Inside, the cabin is a homage to timeless Italian coachbuilding, with bespoke materials, mechanical switches, and the signature Pagani exposed gear linkage—now exposed further by the wind rushing through the cockpit.
Exclusivity at Its Peak
Only 10 examples of the Huayra Codalunga Speedster will ever be produced, each hand-built to the specifications of its future owner. As with all Pagani creations, no two Speedsters will be alike. Clients are invited to collaborate directly with the Atelier Pagani team in San Cesario sul Panaro to customize every detail—from the exterior shade to the smallest stitch in the upholstery.

This level of exclusivity places the Codalunga Speedster in the stratosphere of collectible hypercars, a machine that combines rarity, design purity, and technical brilliance in equal measure.
