One of the Rarest Modern Porsche Collectors’ Cars
The Porsche 911 (997.2) Speedster is one of the most exclusive special editions ever produced by Porsche. Introduced at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, it revived the legendary Speedster philosophy first established by the iconic Porsche 356 Speedster of the 1950s, combining minimalist open-air driving with unmistakable Porsche design.
Production was limited to just 356 examples worldwide, paying tribute to the original 356 Speedster. Today, the 997.2 Speedster has become one of the most desirable collector Porsches of the modern era, admired for its rarity, naturally aspirated flat-six engine and timeless styling.
This exceptional example is No. 239 of 356, one of only 12 cars finished in the Paint-to-Sample (PTS) Black (L041) specification, and has covered just 3,700 kilometres from new.
The Ultimate Evolution of the 997 Generation

The 997.2 Speedster was based on the acclaimed 911 Carrera GTS, combining everyday usability with genuine sports car performance.
Power comes from Porsche’s naturally aspirated 3.8-litre flat-six boxer engine, enhanced by the desirable X51 Powerkit, increasing output to 408 horsepower. Mated to Porsche’s renowned 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, the Speedster accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds before reaching a top speed of 305 km/h.
With PASM adaptive suspension, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), a mechanical limited-slip differential and the optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), the Speedster delivers one of the most engaging driving experiences of any naturally aspirated 997.
Speedster Heritage Reimagined

Unlike a conventional 911 Cabriolet, the Speedster was designed to celebrate Porsche’s motorsport heritage.
Its lower, more steeply raked windscreen, manually operated lightweight soft top and signature double-bubble rear tonneau immediately distinguish it from every other 997-generation model. Wider Carrera 4 bodywork, SportDesign front apron, black detailing and iconic 19-inch Sport Classic Fuchs wheels further reinforce its distinctive character.
Every Speedster was assembled largely by hand and featured numerous bespoke details unavailable on any other 997.
One of Only Twelve Black PTS Cars

What makes this particular Speedster exceptionally desirable is its extraordinary rarity.
According to Porsche production figures, only 31 Speedsters were built in Paint-to-Sample (PTS) colours, and just 12 were finished in Black (L041).
Originally delivered by Porsche Denmark in July 2011, the car has had only two previous owners and has remained meticulously preserved throughout its life.
Despite covering just 3,700 km, it has received regular servicing through Porsche, reflecting careful long-term ownership and collector-grade maintenance.
